PEG-150/Decyl Alcohol/SMDI Copolymer is a highly associative, nonionic rheology modifier and stabilizing polymer designed for use in a wide range of personal care and cosmetic formulations.
It provides near-Newtonian rheology, excellent thickening, stabilization, and compatibility with anionic, cationic, and nonionic surfactant systems. This polymer is liquid, cold-processable, and offers superior performance in complex formulations containing silicones, peroxides, and particulates.
It is especially valued for its broad compatibility, salt tolerance, acid stability, and ability to stabilize hydrophobic components, making it ideal for creams, lotions, conditioners, and peroxide-based systems.
Applications
• Cationic silicone emulsions
• Creams – Non-medicated creams, makeup, and mascara
• Hair care products – Permanent waves, hair rinses, conditioners, and particulate shampoos
• 2-in-1 or 3-in-1 shampoos and conditioners
• Lotions – Deodorants and astringents
• Peroxide formulations – Hair bleaches, dyes, and hydrogen peroxide skin products
PEG-150/Decyl Alcohol/SMDI Copolymer
