PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate  is a mild nonionic surfactant, emollient, and solubilizer commonly used in cosmetic and personal care products. It is produced by the ethoxylation of glyceryl cocoate, which is derived from coconut fatty acids and glycerin.
This ingredient acts as a refatting agent, meaning it helps restore moisture and lipids to the skin and hair during cleansing. Because of this property, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate is widely used in shampoos, body washes, and facial cleansers to reduce the drying effect of surfactants and leave the skin feeling soft and smooth.
