Oligopeptide-10  is a synthetic antimicrobial peptide used in cosmetic and dermatological formulations, especially for acne-prone and problematic skin. It is composed of a short chain of amino acids designed to mimic natural antimicrobial peptides found in the human immune system.
This peptide works by disrupting bacterial cell membranes, particularly those of acne-causing bacteria (such as Propionibacterium acnes, now called Cutibacterium acnes), helping to reduce breakouts and inflammation.
