Introduction:
High Vacuum Silicone Grease is a stiff, non-melting, silicone-based lubricant and sealant designed for high vacuum, high pressure, and high temperature systems. It maintains a consistent texture across a wide temperature range (-40°C to 250°C) and exhibits excellent chemical resistance, low volatility, and strong sealing ability. These properties make it ideal for use in vacuum systems, laboratory equipment, and chemical processing machinery.

Applications (Main Points):

  • Sealant and lubricant for glass joints and stopcocks in vacuum and high-temperature systems

  • Used in valves of water softeners, control valves, and ceramic plug cocks

  • Applied in fire extinguishers to ensure valve operability under severe conditions

  • Serves as a sealant for floating telephone batteries

  • Used for positioning rubber and other components during assembly

  • Functions as a release agent for epoxy, PVC, polystyrene, and polyester resins

Chemical Resistance:

  • Resistant to dilute aqueous acids, alkalis, and inorganic salt solutions

  • Unaffected by most vegetable and mineral oils, gases, and organic compounds

Solubility:

  • Insoluble in water, acetone, glycol, and glycerin

  • Dispersible in kerosene, benzene, toluene, ethyl ether, carbon tetrachloride, petroleum ether, methylene chloride, and perchloroethylene

Benefits:

  • Excellent sealing and lubricating performance under high vacuum and temperature

  • Chemically resistant to acids, alkalis, and oils

  • Highly adhesive and water-repellent

  • Non-melting and stable over a wide temperature range

  • Long-lasting performance in harsh industrial environments
