Cationic Guar Gum (INCI: Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride) is a cationically modified polysaccharide derived from guar gum. It carries a positive charge, giving it excellent conditioning, detangling, anti‑static, and mild thickening properties in surfactant and cosmetic systems. Compared with regular guar gum, its cationic nature enables better adhesion to skin and hair, improving softness and manageability while boosting foam performance in cleansing products.
