These are also used as cleaning agents, scouring agents,wetting agents & dispersants or emulsifiers in textile formulations. Behenyl alcohol ethoxylate has a carbon length of 22. It’s a non-ionic emulsifying wax with a heavy, slippery texture. The usage level is 0.5% to 4%. Behenyl alcohol is a natural, vegetable source long chain fatty alcohol. It’s used to regulate viscosity in formulations. It functions as a thickener and stabilizer and may be used as a co-emulsifier.
