Anti-Grey Active  refers to cosmetic ingredients used in hair-care formulations to help delay, reduce, or reverse the appearance of grey hair. These actives target the biological causes of greying such as melanin loss, oxidative stress, and reduced melanocyte activity in hair follicles.
Hair turns grey mainly when the pigment melanin decreases in the follicle. Anti-grey actives help maintain or restore this pigment by protecting pigment-producing cells and supporting melanin production.
